There have been many cases of scams reported lately in several Second Life's related forums. We would like to take this opportunity to warn you of one such tricks that scammers are deploying.

Scenario: Land does not have any autoreturn set. Scammer will add another layer in front of an item for sale. Instead of paying for that item, you have instead paid the scammer. So always make sure you are dealing with the right person.

- 2 sets of L/S Pro Skating HUD (ice skates with hud) are now available besides the ice rink. You have a choice of either the black or white series. Each set will cost 500L.

- Sexy Scots is officially opened. Check the club out for different activities and contests going on.

* EILEAN DONAN *
- The Eilean Donan Castle is available for you to hold your wedding or any special events. More information can be obtained from the castle itself.
- We have recently added a dance ball at the ice rink, make use of it, gather a few friends and have some fun there!

L/S Pro Skating Hud and Pro Figure Skates

For those that are interested in ice skating, now you can skate like a pro using the L/S Pro Skating Hud and Pro Figure Skates located next to the ice rink in Scotland. You have a choice of white or black for the skates. The hud will enable you to do a variety of skating tricks and stunts.

So do check them up. Both the black and white versions are priced at L$500 each.

Dear members, this issue has been delayed for 2 weeks till now due to some technical problems with Second Life as well as with real life.

Really glad that conditions are getting better and it is now possible to get this issue ready and out to you.

We are evaluating rents in Scotland due to rise in operating costs and they will be increased on Sept 1, 2007 to L$150 per week for 25 prims and such. More details should be available soon.

Please avoid making any inworld transactions or operations on no-copy assets till LL gives the all clear.

Scotland Weekly Issue #21

Dear members, we have received information about a script that is able to empty your L$ account. and we would like to let you know about it.

This script can be embedded in any object (drinks, animals, gifts etc.) so do take care when accepting things from strangers and even people that you know too. This script will ask for your permission to take L$ from you, look out for that huge yellow pop-up box, DO NOT click Grant or Accept as it will empty your L$. Deny permission whenever you are not sure cos once permission is granted, there is nothing much you can do to stop the transaction.
