Scotland Weekly Issue #14

Dear members, we are looking to add a snapshots viewer in the pub soon.

No property available this week but you can still contact Lacy217 McLuhan regarding any rental enquiry, consultation and arrangement.


COMING EVENT(S)
a) Weekly Saturday Ceildih @ 12 Noon SLT at Nessie's Pub! DJ will be KatMarie Jetaime.

b) Sunday's Trivia contest @ 10 AM SLT in Nessie's Pub. L$5 giveaway for every correctly answered question.

c) Weekend Sunday Ceildih @ 11:30 AM SLT right after the trivia. DJ Kimber Enoch will be spinning for you. Best in red, white and blue contest will be on at the same time. L250 each for best male and female.

d) The Cetlic Fashion and Merchandise Show is fixed on Sunday 17th June 2007 @ 12 noon SLT. Location for this event will be at the Kahlo Stage. For more information, please contact Stormy Moonlight in-world.


WHAT'S NEW
a) Have you taken a look at our blog (http://sl-scotland.blogspot.com) yet? Look out for SCOTTISH R US ad-hoc announcements and news there.

b) We have placed some games in the upper deck of Nessie's Pub. There is a free-to-play Kick And Win soccer game where you can win L20 if you can hit the target. Each person gets to play 5 times per 100 shots. A pool table has been added too and you can get the instructions on how to play it from our blog. By the way, our old dart game is still there.

c) A Sploder has recently been added to the pub. Throw a mini party there and have fun with it.

d) There is a Starfruit phone booth in front of The Tartan Shop. Use it to send free (limited) SMS text messages. Simply type /8 help to get information on how to use it. You can also use it to look for cool places in SL by clicking on the instruction sign inside the phone booth to teleport to another phone booth around SL.

e) Another addition, if you have not noticed, is the sunbath raft at Eilean Donan. It is located near the surfing spot. Head there to relax by yourself or with a few friends. Enjoy the great views too while you are there!


OTHERS
a) We are always on the lookout for Celtic Musicians (either solo performer or group) for live performances on SL. Kindly Contact Lacy217 McLuhan if you are interested.

b) Do you have any theme dance & contest ideas? If you do, please drop a notecard to Lacy217 McLuhan.

c) Date and time for the pipeband's performace for the opening ceremony of the new SL Chamber of Commerce in June will be made known to you as soon as we get the information.
