Useful Tips

- Explore as much as you can. Look at what others are building and creating.

- Ask questions if you need to, some places employ staffs to assist you so do not hesitate in seeking their expertises.

- When you come across locked door or restricted land during your exploration, respect the owner's decision and just move along.

- Use the Chat History tab when chat is scrolling pretty fast, it can help you to catch up with the conversation.

- Move your mouse cursor on an object to see what it is. A tool tip will appear with a short description of the object.

- Use these steps to save your AV's appearance. Right-click yourself and go to appearance mode. At the bottom left, you can "make outfit". To save a whole AV, be sure to include the body parts, shape, skin, hair, eyes, clothings and attachments. Then, name the look and save. A folder with the same name will be saved to your clothing folder. Just simply drag the folder from your inventory to your AV to change in an instant the next time you needed that look again.

- When you find a place you like, you can create a LM so you can find it again. Select World -> Create Landmark Here from the menu. Rename it to remind yourself what the LM is for.

- Use the Force Sun function to force daylight if it gets too dark by selecting World -> Force Sun from the menu.

- If you are looking for land, use the View menu. Select Property Lines to see the borders of the land parcel, and Land Owners to see who owns the parcel.

- To find out the age of an object, right-click it, Edit > More > More > Inspect
